Big, Big, BIG News!

American Holiday Artists Studios Marketplace

Is now open!

And to celebrate this momentous occasion all Ahartisans are participating in a Blog Give-away! This Give-away will run from August 25th through September 12th. The rules are very simple, and you have a chance to win more than one prize.

Here's how it works.

First, each Ahartisan has posted a picture of our give-away prize clearly marked on our blogs. Next we have all chosen a random number.

All you have to do is post a comment under each prize picture. Now, if your comment corresponds with the Ahartisan's chosen number, then hooray, you win the prize for that blog. So, the more comments you post, the more chances you have to win! Easy!

Each of us have listed our fellow Ahartisans on our blogs, so all you have to do is follow the list from blog to blog, find the prize and comment. What could be easier?

I'm offering Baby's First Halloween. A baby-jack ornie wearing a diaper that can be personalized.

Don't forget to leave your comment before moving on to the next blog!

Good Luck and Thank You for participating in the American Holiday Artists Studio Marketplace Great Give-away!

New for the Holidays

Twila Twinkletoes

Twila Twinkletoes fancies herself a Prima Ballerina as she stands on Pointe atop her colorfully hand painted Christmas bell. Twila is all decked out in her favorite winter hat and scarf and her favorite pink ballerina toe shoes.

Twila was created by me, Kim Owens, using my own hand made paper clay. Once cured, she was hand painted using acrylic paint. Chalks and oils were used to create shadows and highlights. She was then antiqued to bring out all the details and finally the whole piece was sealed with a satin sealer to protect the finish and keep the colors vibrant for years to come.

Twila was created in my smoke free studio in Sunny California. She's the largest piece I've created yet, standing a full 20 inches tall by 6 inches wide. And because she's made from paper clay, she's very lightweight. She will come to you signed, dated and ready for display.

Lila Leapster

Lila Leapster is enjoying this Christmas season playing leap frog with her snow friends. Lila is leap-frogging over a large hand painted bell ornament. She’s staying warm wrapped in her hat, scarf and gloves. Her hat and shoes are decorated with custom colored polymer clay Christmas lights and rusty tin snowflakes. Baby rusty tin jingle bells complete the decorations.

This piece was created by me, Kim Owens, using my own hand made paper clay. Once cured the piece was then painted with acrylic paint, oil paint, chalk and antiquing medium. It was then sealed with a satin sealer to protect the finish and keep the colors vibrant for years to come.

This piece stands 8 inches tall by 5 inches wide and was created in my smoke free studio in Sunny California.

This piece will come to you signed, dated and ready for display.
